How do I record a memo?

Tap the microphone button on the Memos screen and start speaking. Tap again to stop. Your memo will be transcribed and analyzed automatically.

How does AI analysis work?

After recording, Voca sends your transcription to AI which generates a title, summary, key points, and action items. This usually takes a few seconds.

What categories does Voca detect?

Voca automatically detects 6 categories: Meeting, Idea, Dream, Lecture, Personal, and Note — based on the content of your recording.

What is included in Premium?

How do I cancel my subscription?

Go to iPhone Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Voca → Cancel Subscription

Is my data private?

Yes. Your memos are stored in YOUR personal iCloud account. We never access, collect, or sell your data.

Can I export my memos?

Yes. You can export any memo to Apple Notes, Telegram, or PDF. PDF export is available for Premium users.

What languages are supported?

Voca supports any language that your device microphone can capture. AI analysis and transcription work best with English and Russian, but over 50 other languages are supported perfectly too.

How accurate is the transcription?

Free tier uses Apple's built-in speech recognition. Premium users get advanced AI transcription which is significantly more accurate, especially for technical terms, names, and non-English languages.

What is the Dream Journal feature?

When Voca detects you're describing a dream, it automatically switches to Dream mode — extracting key images, emotional tone, and unusual details from your dream description.

What are Weekly Insights?

Insights shows your recording activity, mood trends, top topics, and an AI-generated weekly summary. Available after recording at least 8 memos.

What is Recording Streak?

Streak tracks how many consecutive days you've recorded at least one memo. It's a fun way to build a daily habit.
